The First Generation of LED Lion Dance Costumes
Taking on the challenge of outfitting lion dancers with LED lights wasn’t just about enhancing visuals. It was about creating something beautiful yet functional. The lion costumes are significantly larger than our previous LED outfits, so we needed to rethink how we connected the LEDs. Enter ultra-flexible wiring—a game-changer that allowed us to maintain flexibility and durability, preventing damage during the performance. But with more lights came a new challenge: power. Each lion now requires three separate batteries to keep those mesmerizing lights shining throughout the entire performance. It’s a delicate balance between performance aesthetics and the technical demands of lighting, but we made it work seamlessly for the LED lion dance. 
Collaborating with a Lion Dance Team
Our experience with lion dance was limited—until we met Kwok’s Lion Dance Team. Working closely with them, we learned the intricate movements and techniques that make a traditional lion dance so captivating. Together, we combined their authentic artistry with our innovative LED effects, creating a completely new visual experience for audiences with our LED lion dance performance.
